Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes

I got the opportunity to try out the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes the other day. Fiber lash mascara is pretty cool. The first time I tried it I was a little nervous because I wear contact lenses and I was worried about getting fibers in my eyes. My eyes are super sensitive when I'm wearing contacts. Thankfully I had zero fallout, which was awesome.

The product comes in very nice, luxurious packaging. You receive two tubes - the Transplanting Gel and the Natural Fibers (as shown below.) It retails for $29.
Instructions for use are laid out in three simple steps on the company's website:
  1. Apply an even coat of Transplanting Gel to lashes.
  2. Immediately Apply Natural Fibers while Transplanting Gel is wet.
  3. Seal the fibers with Transplanting Gel. Repeat until you've reached desired fullness.
You can adjust the intensity to your liking by adding a second or third coat of the steps above. The instructions that come with the product also add that you can start with one coat of your regular mascara and then proceed with the steps listed. I simply did the three steps and it didn't take me any longer than applying 3 coats of regular mascara.

Here's one eye with 3D Fiber Lash and one with out.
And here's both lashes coated

Overall I really like the product. I have very wimpy lashes and the fibers definitely helped plump them up. They're so much more noticeable without the hassle of having to apply false lashes.

The fibers are 100% natural and are taken from green tea. The ingredients and their purpose are available on the website. I really appreciate that the company openly posts these details.
